'The Baker and the Beauty' Gets First Trailer at ABC (Video) - TheWrap
ABC debuted the first trailer for its upcoming series “The Baker and the Beauty” at the Television Critics Association press tour on Wednesday.
Based on an Israeli format created by Assi Azar, “The Baker and the Beauty” stars Victor Rasuk and “Dynasty” alum Nathalie Kelley as a baker who falls in with an international celebrity and fashion mogul after they meet during a wild night out in Miami.
The series, described as a grounded “modern-day fairy tale,” is set to debut on Monday, April 6.
In addition to Rasuk and Kelley, the series also stars Carlos Gómez, Dan Bucatinsky, Lisa Vidal, David Del Rio, Belissa Escobedo and Michelle Veintimilla.
Dean Georgaris serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner on the series. Executive producers include Azar, director David Frankel, Becky Hartman Edwards, Jim Chory, Steve Pearlman, and Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan of Keshet Broadcasting. The series hails from Universal Television and ABC Studios in association with Keshet Studios.
